Bank Holidays in India April 2024: Starting from 14 April Bhim Rao Ambedkar banks across all public and private sectors in most parts of India will be closed for four straight days till April 17.
This will be on account of Bank Holidays in India in April 2024, various festivals like Ambedkar Jayanti, Good Friday, and Bohag Bihu, while one bank holiday is due on a Sunday.
Bank Holidays come into effect every year. This list includes leaves under three categories- the first is Holiday Under the Negotiable Instruments Act, the second is Holiday Under Negotiable Instruments Act, and Real-Time Gross Settlement Holidays and the third is Banks Closing Accounts.
Banks will remain closed all over India across branches, except in Himachal Pradesh and Meghalaya, on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti/Mahavir Jayanti/Baisakhi/Tamil New Year's Day/
Cheiraoba/Biju Festival/Bohag Bihu.
